Thankyou Mum and Dad for giving us life. You both have been there from day one, seen us through the good and bad times but never turned your back. You always gave us a safe place to come home too. If I could choose from all the parents in the world I would choose you both. We always had food on the table and clean clothes to wear and at holiday time we would go away in the caravan. Dad always said "kids should have sand and water in the holidays" I have to many memory's to pick out a favourite so I thank you both for them all. You will always be in my heart and thoughts.
Dorothea WellensDad and Mum were childhood sweethearts, married for 57 great years. Just like they lived they died together. They were always a team, it was never mum or dad it was always mum and dad.
Barbara WilliamsDuring my childhood Dad was always working as a plumber putting food on the table while mum was caring for the five of us plus extras. Dad and mum raised us the best they could and did a great job.
It has been an Honour and a privilege to help care for my parents to return the favour and look after them over the last few years, at first assisting them with doctors visits and shopping, and then taking them to my place after mum broke her leg.
They will always be in my heart
I will always remember Granny and Grampy as a couple. They did everything together and could never be seperated even by death.
Caity WilliamsI will always remember how when we would play scrabble with Granny and Grampy would never rush us all he would do is sit on the lounge and every time Grampy would fall asleep.
Mum was always there. She always put us before herself.
Christopher MalpassWe love her dearly and she will always be missed.
I will always remember how I was welcomed into the Malpass Family by Brenda & Cliff when Steve and I started going out which was lovely, I will always be forever thankful to them allowing me to join Family.
Tracy MalpassOne of my best memory is when Steve, his Mum & Dad took me into the city to show me all the things I had never seen before, They took me to the Opera House, Luna Park, Circular Key, Manly, The funniest thing happened in Manly, Steve & I went for a look around, his mum & dad stopped for a cuppa, as we were walking back toward our meeting point we saw his parents, Steve run up behind his mum & tried to grab her handbag but with all her strength she held onto her bag, there was no way he was going to get away with it, The look on her face was a stern rack off you are not getting it, I always remember that as clear as daylight. There is so many wonderful times with Brenda
I will miss you Brenda "Mum'. xxx
One of my best memories with my mum is how she would let me cook with her, I used to make so much mess but mum always said it was ok, thats the fun of cooking, We made so many different things, lots of cakes slices but my favourite was making Shrewsbury Biscuits, I got to cut out the shapes and i got to eat them. My favourite show on Tv was Humphrey B Bear, When mum was hanging out the washing and something happened on Humphrey i would run outside and say mum,mum come in and see Humphrey, mum would always leave the washing and come inside to see why I was so excited, she didn't really want to watch it but she always came in anyway. We used to play Uno together and she would let me win, we always had a lot of fun.
Steven MalpassMum I love you Always and Forever.
You are always in my Heart,
Steven xxxx, ,
When I told Granny I was putting together the family tree she sat with me for hours and let me pepper her with questions over a game of scrabble. Granny didn't like to talk about herself much but that made every story she told me that much more precious.
Crystal WilliamsMy favourite memory of Granny is going to her house as a child, eating hard candy, playing scrabble for points and always losing.
Daniel WilliamsI cannot think of one particular favourite memory as all my memories have been great with mum, she was always so nice.
Michael WilliamsOne of my favourite memorys is learning in her last months that Granny was a lover of cats as well and that she used to have cats when she was younger.
Caity WilliamsAnother one is the many scrabble games we played together as I was growing up.
My Favourite memory of my mum is caring for her since she has been unwell. We played many games of scrabble together and talked, and finding out all the things I never knew about mum, how much she loved cats.
Barbara WilliamsMy mum had so much love to give i remember mum caring for other children as well as the five of us too.
