Favourite memories

  • You were born one Sunday, I was born the next. We were so close when we were kids and then teenagers and then we both got married; I moved away. The last few times I was back in town, I saw you and we stopped and talked about life and kids and promised to catch up properly next time. Today I found out there will be no "next time." Life was not kind to you, my dear cousin. I hope you've finally found peace.
