1949-2017

Late of the Hawkesbury, formerly of Allambie.

Passed away unexpectedly on New Years Eve.

Loving husband of Sharon. Proud father of Rhys and Samantha. Brother of Sandra and Richard. Pa to Harlan and Quinn. Beloved son of Henry (dec) and Dorothy (dec).

Anyone who knew Roy knew how passionate he was about supporting the local community, it is for this reason that the family has asked that in lieu of flowers to make a donation to the UHA (United Hospital Auxiliary) Hawkesbury Hospital. It is a non-profit organisation that aims to purchase additional equipment for the use of patient care. After all it was the Paramedics and Medical staff who all worked so hard to help Roy.

We will honour and remember Roy in the betting area of the Hawkesbury Racecourse, Racecourse Road, Clarendon ~ Followed by a private cremation.

  • Les was great. He had all the best qualities of a good old Aussie bloke. Will miss talking to him about sport - especially regarding a certain recent Australian cricket captain!
