  • As one goes through life you make a handful of true friends -
Jessie, you were certainly one of those.

Deepest Condolences to Gai and family.

    RIP Jessie.

  • We both didn't get to know you for long enough in time, but the time we did spend with you showed us the man that you were Lyle.

From the time we first met, you treated us like family and it was so easy to see your spirit, generosity and kind heart.

We truly wish that we could've had more time together but count ourselves very lucky to have met you.

Your smiling face and pure love for Gai will always shine bright in our mind.

    May you rest in Peace

  • Farewell Jesse, fond memories of the many special times we shared in Darwin including my visit to Melbourne where we attended the Melbourne Cup together.

Your kindness shown toward my father Eddie, when as a war veteran he visited Darwin, was greatly appreciated.

A very special, courageous and caring friend who will be greatly missed by all those that were blessed to have know him.

Deepest heartfelt sympathy to Gai on the passing of Jesse.

    RIP Jesse

  • Our deepest condolonces on the loss of your beloved husband Jess.
We only hope that your beautiful memories can bring comfort during this unhappy time. We could only imagine how difficult it has been for you.
Jess was a special person who inspire us how to be strong and qa courageous person.
He was always so considerate and helpful especially the time when neigbour's car slided down and hit our shed in the middle of the night/morning.
We always looked forward to spending time with him and getting caught up in his positive outlook..
Though we haven't gotten to spend as much time together in the last year as we would have liked, we considered him among our dearest and most treasured friend.
    He will be greatly missed.
May God's blessing and peace be with you.

    Much loce,
    Grace and Henry Handaru

  • 39 years ago, when we first met Jessie, he pressed us as a man of integrity and strength. He displayed his attributes throughout his trials.
he was taken from us prematurely, but the love of his life will never be alone; his spirit lives on forever, and binds us together with Gai!

  • Thank you for being the love of my twin sister's life, and for loving us and sharing your own sense of laughter with us all.. You took on life's challenges with courage and determination , a wonderful example to all. Your care of all creatures great and small was something to behold - stray and injured animals found refuge and shelter at your home.. Green Pastures ahead dear Brud!

  • My life was you, your heart was mine..my love for you is not defined. Your courage, the strength no one will ever understand, So strong and stoic without any self pity to the end. The unselfish gestures as a generous provider and the pride taken as we built our homes and lives together, such love for our pets, thoroughbreds we race or the unwanted animals continually bought home from the roadside, the broken winged and injured birds bought back to life...how could I not love someone that mellowed through life.
