Commencing: 10:30am

Location:
Miguel’s funeral service will be held at St Matthews Catholic Church, 12 Tebbutt Street, Windsor ~ Followed by a private burial.

All are welcomed to attend a wake to commemorate the life of Miguel Tavora, it will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley in the Governor Phillip Ballroom ~ commencing roughly at 11:30am.

  • I remember, when i first met Miguel when he first arrived in Australia. I had just about given up on trying to find a method of training Dressage that I enjoyed, or that made sense.
    At a clinic a Jan Carvers property in Sackville, I saw him ride for the first time.
    I watched in awe, as this rider, Miguel Tavora, communicated so effortlessly with the horses.
    They seemed to read his mind.
    It was at this clinic, being given by Nuno Oliviera, that I fell in love with this way of training dressage, and have never looked back.
    I am so privileged that i was able to learn from this man, and they are lessons that have stayed with me for life.
    Thank you Miguel, for giving me the gift of a lifetime.....
