5th November, 1933 – 6th June, 2017

Beloved son of Charles and Eileen (Harrington) (both deceased). Loved brother of Margaret Zucker, Madeline (dec.), Sr Therese McNamara (olsh) and Brenda Thomas and brother-in-law of Robert (dec.) and Dave. Special uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle of their children.

For nearly sixty years, he was a very loved and compassionate Priest and Pastor who ministered in the Dioceses of Sydney, Aitape (PNG) and Parramatta. After his retirement he served as relieving Priest in NSW, Queensland and The Kimberley (WA).

Funeral service details

Date: Wednesday, 14th June, 2017
Commencing: 11:00am

Location:

Mass of Christian Burial for Fr Mac will be offered at The Good Samaritan Hall, Bede Polding College, 22 Rifle Range Road, Bligh Park. Following the Mass, Fr Mac’s funeral procession will pass St Matthew’s Catholic Church, Tebbutt Street, Windsor, then proceed to Richmond Lawn Cemetery.

  • Father mac helped my family so much he was always there for us when we needed him. He always brought a smile to our faces, especially when he tried to teach Alan how to play golf. We are blessed to have father mac in our lives R.I.P Father Mac love the Martins

  • Father Mac helped myself and family "learning" about Catholic Faith... and taking us along the whole pathway...He was also very patient explaining to my Japanese students their questions like " why does he wear different coloured "dresses" he loved explaining Religion etc in good old fashioned easy to understand terms. RIP Fr Mac - you are a very special person....
