So sorry for your loss Leanne and family .. Rex was a good school friend of my late husband (Garry Webster). He was a lovely man who had a heart of gold. Dependable, smart and extremely generous. He helped coach and manage our netball team in the late 70's we had so much fun. The world has lost another beautiful sole. May you rest in peace Beautiful man.
Judy WebsterRex you had a funny dry sense of humour which Mark & I loved. It was always great to catch up with you even over boring accounts. We’ll really miss you mate. Give-em heaps up there in the clouds xx
Mark & Jeannie ThomasRex you made people laugh. Your live for your family and friends was so evident. You did everything I asked of you and fought so hard. You gave me the greatest honour and I will always have you in my heart as a very special friend. Fly high and fly free my friend.
Sandra CallaghanMy daring Rex
Leanne McPhersonYou were my husband, my best friend, my soulmate...and you completed me. I was blessed and honoured to be able to have you as my husband and father to our two beautiful children. A piece of my heart has gone with you to heaven and I won’t be whole until we meet again. Always know I loved you then, I love you now and I’ll love you forever, Rex.
Missing you always...Leanne xxx
I only met Rex 3 times, the first time about 12 months ago. I was impressed with his positive attitude, sense of humour and tenacity in his fight to regain his health.
Krystyna YardIt was obvious that he loved his wife Leanne "forever" and adored his children.
It it such a travesty to lose a good man so young - he is much loved by all who knew him.
My memory of Rex is that of a kind and generous man. He was a friend and mate. He will be missed but never forgotten. I wish to once again extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to his devoted wife, Leanne and their children, Alex and Liz.
James ZinnRIP Rex you are out of pain now.
Our last Christmas working together I will never forget the anger followed by the belly laughter from Rex when myself and a colleague decorated his desk, draws and entire filing system with finely chopped tinsel! Every file he removed from his shelf contained for months to come the joy of Christmas tinsel!! Rex was out for revenge!! He removed and hid the wheels from our office chairs!! Rex’s wicked personality always lead to nonstop laughter. We continued to stay in touch for years to come.. Through this time I have been blessed with the friendship of Rex’s beautiful family. Rex will never be forgotten, always remembered for his strength and jovial spirits.
Kandyce CalderwoodMy favourite memory/memories of Rex were some of the humorous phone conversations I had with him. He would answer with a different accent each time he picked up the phone, and you would always end up having a laugh with him. His sense of humour was off the charts, and the devotion and love for his family was appreciated by all who knew and loved him. Fabulous husband, father, and friend, he will sadly missed. xxx
Sue GoldsworthyRex was one of the most loving and caring people we have ever met he was so full of joy always happy see you lots of fun and always ready with a quick joke to make you laugh, a better friend could not be found nothing was ever too much trouble
Jo & Doreen MoloneyTo us he was family ( the good kind that was truly loving and caring not just a reli )
we loved him very much and will miss him terribly
Leanne,Liz and Alex were his life thy meant everything to him
The world is a sadder place without him in it and heaven is having a wonderful celebration at his arrival
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him
I don’t have a particular memory because it’s hard to put laughter and smiles and giggles to one moment with Rex. Every time we saw or spoke to Rex or went out for lunch I always remember how he made each one of us feel. He always listened intently and always managed to make you smile , laugh or giggle .... He was such a beautiful man on earth and just as beautiful in heaven I’m sure . Heaven truly has gained an angel . Always in our thoughts and hearts Rex. Love Always Carmen, Robert , Jacob and My dad Karam
CarmenAs soon as I met Rex he embraced me as a friend, teased me and generally welcomed me as if we'd known each other for years. He helped me manage my taxation out of friendship, he didn't charge me a cent. He always treated me with kindness, humour and respect. Rex you have left your mark in my heart for life. I am so very grateful and blessed to know the entire McPherson family. Love to you and wonderful memories that will last for always. God bless.
