  • My memories of Bob were his idea and fantasies of building a hot rod. He arrived home at his parents place with a chassis and four wheels, a steering wheel and a seat! Bob commenced work by cleaning and painting the chassis parts. One day sitting around admiring his work he said hey Beek how about we push the car around to the shop. We parked it right out front, bought two bottles of coke from the shop, sat up in the seat of the wonder machine which was pretty cool in those days having a coke and sitting in a half built hot rod. After a short time Mr May owner of the shop asked us to remove this monstrosity as it was taking up valuable car space for his customers. We then proceeded to push it back to Bob's parents house, the whole project came to a stop!! Great times Bob.
